At Midget Greens, we work to provide the freshest, most nutritious product for you. We have always followed Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and Good Handling Practices (GHP) so that our Microgreens are produced, handled, and delivered as safely as possible to minimize risks of microbial food safety hazards. All workers, prior to any production operations, always wash their hands according to GAP/GHP guidelines.
We use only NSF Certified equipment that is cleaned and sanitized, prior to use in our operations. We grow in 100% Coco coir fiber. We only use Non-GMO seed and carbon-filtered water in our grow process. We never use any fertilizers or pesticides.
In response to COVID-19, we have implemented further precautions to minimize risks. We monitor CDC guidelines closely and have a strict handwashing protocol. Additionally, we now wear masks and food safe gloves while performing any operation that involves producing, handling or delivering Midget Greens.
